Boeing delivered a total of 600 commercial aircraft in 2025, reaching its highest annual delivery level since 2018. The company stated that the momentum was driven primarily by increased production in the 737 and 787 programs. A total of 160 aircraft were delivered in the fourth quarter, with 63 aircraft handed over to airlines in December alone.
For the full year, deliveries consisted of 447 737s, 88 787s, 35 777s, and 30 767s. Although Airbus delivered more aircraft in 2025 (793), Boeing outperformed its rival on the sales side with 1,173 net orders. This marked the first year since 2018 that Boeing secured more net orders than Airbus.
In December, Boeing boosted its order book with more than 100 737 MAX orders from Alaska Airlines and at least 30 787 Dreamliner orders from Delta Air Lines. However, engine availability and supply chain issues continue to constrain production. Further clarity on Boeing’s production and delivery plans is expected with the release of its financial results on January 27.
